AFP Central VA represents nearly 30,000 members in more than 213 chapters throughout the world, working to advance philanthropy through education, training, mentoring, research, credentialing, and advocacy. Grant Professionals Association: Central Virginia Chapter
The Grant Professionals Association (formerly American Association of Grant Professionals-AAGP), a nonprofit membership association, builds and supports an international community of grant professionals committed to serving the greater public good by practicing the highest ethical and professional standards. The Central Virginia Chapter of the GPA holds meetings on the 3rd Thursday of every other month over lunch beginning each January. Our members represent nonprofit organizations, public school systems, units of local and state government, and independent grant writing and development consultants.
